Yesterday and today, Legislation committee #2 of the Welsh Assembly will
be hearing evidence as part of the development of the Welsh Language
Measure ('Measure' = Welsh law). Live coverage and recorded videos here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/democracylive/hi/wales/newsid_8644000/8644803.stm

(Videos may only be available in the UK, I have no way to check.)

Comment will spread across the web no doubt. Some of it will be on BBC
Wales political editor Betsan Powys' blog:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/betsanpowys/2010/04/mesur_iaith.html

The language issue usually causes heated debates on both sides among her
readers, even when that's not what she's actually blogging about. Today
should provide a good deal more exchanges.
