Meeting Description:

Deaf people in many African countries, are among the most marginalised
people. Their employment opportunities are often confined to menial jobs
because of lack of education and training opportunities. This conference will
provide a forum for participants to discuss the state of education and skills
training for the deaf community in Ghana and other African countries.

Call For Papers

Call Deadline: 01/06//2010
Notification of acceptance: 05/06/2010

Abstracts are invited for thirty-minute talks on any aspect of Deafness,
Sign language and Sign language linguistics (20 minutes for presentation,
and 10 minutes for discussions).

Abstract must be anonymous and at most one page long with one optional
page for data and references, and another separate page containing the
name, affiliation, and e-mail address of sender.

Abstract should be in pdf format.
