The Guardian are reporting that S4C, the government-supported
Welsh-language channel, will shortly be facing a 24 per cent cut in
its Budget as a result of the Comprehensive Spending Review.  The
article notes that cuts will inevitably also impact on the 34
independent production companies that provide content for S4C.
