Interpreting Leaders to Gather in Washington, DC in June

The 1st North American Summit on Interpreting takes place this coming
June 17th in Washington, DC. Leaders from the conference, community,
legal, medical, military, and signed language sectors will meet to
take stock of the profession, network, and look to practical next
steps for building our dynamic and expanding profession.

High-profile speakers will address the interpreting marketplace,
legislation and lobbying issues, standards, education and
certification and key next steps for our industry in a plenary-style
event that includes the commissioning of two ground-breaking reports
to be made available to Summit participants.

Check out the program information included below, and be sure to visit
our website at www.interpretamerica.net for complete information and
to register.

Key stakeholders from these six sectors are signed up to attend. Don’t
miss this unique chance to network and explore greater collaboration
and resource sharing with your peers from across the interpreting
