Meeting Description:

The fourteenth Methods in Dialectology will be held at the University of Western
Ontario (London, Ontario, Canada) from 2 to 6 August 2011. Themes and keynote
speakers will be announced at a later date.

There are already a number of workshop sessions proposed, and further
suggestions for special sessions or workshops are welcome. Potential organisers
are asked to provide details of their plans, including their names, scope of
session, estimated number of papers, and arrangements for abstract review.
Please send these to the Organising Committee(methods14uwo.ca) by September 30,
2010, in order to facilitate integrating with the wider conference.

The main language of the conference is English but specific sessions or
workshops may be conducted in French. Proposals for sessions in other languages
should be addressed to the organizing committee.

Call for Papers:

Please note: the deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended to
November 30, 2010.

Methods in Dialectology 14: Third Call for Papers

The fourteenth Methods in Dialectology will be held at the University of Western
Ontario (London, Ontario, Canada) from Tuesday August 2 to Saturday August 6,
2011. Abstracts will be refereed anonymously by the Methods Steering Committee,
and authors will be notified of acceptance before the end of January 2011. For

Abstracts are being accepted which are related to the theme of Transitions or
not, as well as for specific calls related to a series of workshops.
