Australian politician Bishop: Asian languages are a must


Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party of Australia Julie Bishop talks about her
language policy goals.

"I believe that we should have a much greater focus on a second language. . .
In fact my view is it should be mandatory."

She then goes on to specifically mention Mandarin, Japanese, and Indonesian
as possible languages of focus.
