Meeting Description:

The Endangered Language Fund is pleased to announce the application
process for participants and mentors in the Breath of Life Archival Institute,
to be held in Washington, DC, June 13-24, 2011. Participants will be Native
American heritage language learners, teachers and activists; mentors will
be experts in linguistics who help guide the participants' work.

The application deadline for this June's Breath of Life Archival Institute for
Indigenous Languages is March 1. We are still accepting applications for
indigenous language learners and mentors who will guide their research.
Breath of Life is a two-week workshop where Native language learners use
language documentation in DC-area archives to enrich their revitalization
efforts.
