[lg policy] 'Haitian' or 'Haitian Creole'?

Thanks, everyone, for the discussion so far on this question of what to 
call a language / a creole, etc. Are people copying their responses to 
Hyppolite Pierre <hpierre at irsp.org> (who originally asked the question on 
LINGUIST, wanting to know what linguists thought / had published on the 
matter)? I think he'd appreciate it!
