'Caring' the key theme for Maori Language Week



Maori language week has kicked off across New Zealand, with a theme of
“Manaakitanga” guiding the week-long events.



The word roughly translates to mean care of oneself, of others, and
the environment, says Maori Language Commission chief executive Glenis
Philip-Barbara.
