European Journal of Language Policy / Revue européenne de politique linguistique
Publisher: Liverpool University Press
URL: http://www.liverpool-unipress.co.uk/html/publication.asp?idProduct=3857

Description: EJLP/REPL is a peer-reviewed journal published in
association with the Conseil européen pour les langues / European
Language Council, and edited by Professor Michael Kelly (University of
Southampton, UK). It addresses developments in language policy from a
European perspective, regarding multilingualism as a valuable asset in
twenty-first century societies. Its focus is on Europe but it is alert
to policy developments in the wider world. Manuscripts are invited for
articles studying any aspect of language policy, and any aspect of the
area of languages for which policies may need to be developed.
Proposals are particularly welcome that provide greater understanding
of the factors which contribute to policy-making, or that examine the
effects of particular policies on language learning or language use.
The journal also presents policy documents and reports, which
contribute to debates on language policy in Europe and elsewhere.
Items are accepted in either English or French.
ISSN: 1757-6822

Linguistic Field(s): Applied Linguistics
