Interlanguage Hypothesis*

We invite you to our 2012 second language studies symposium. Eminent
researchers in the field of Second Language Acquisition present their
perspective on the Interlanguage Hypothesis, first introduced 40 years ago.
The symposium format entails:

   - Paper presentations by invited speakers
   - Opportunities for extended interaction with invited speakers
   - Concluding speech by Dr. Larry Selinker

   - Susan Gass (Michigan State University)
   - ZhaoHong Han (Teachers College, Columbia University)
   - Diane Larsen-Freeman (University of Michigan)
   - Silvina Montrul (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
   - Terence Odlin (Ohio State University)
   - Lourdes Ortega (University of Hawaii at Manoa)
   - Charlene Polio (Michigan State University)
   - Elaine Tarone (University of Minnesota)
   - Bill VanPatten (Michigan State University)
