Greetings,

A student of mine in an international education policy course is
researching the language policies (in education) in Franco's Spain,
but her search is coming up short.

According to her preliminary research, she cannot find a clear
"policy" from Franco, but has found that the Castilian/Spanish-only
policies that were implemented quite harshly in Catalonia and the
Basque regions in the 1940s, before a slight relaxation into the 1960s
leading up to the revised Constitution in 1978.

I was wondering if anyone has some recommended secondary readings, or
suggestions about how to access (from the US) primary source documents
on language policy, particularly in education, under Franco.
