Rally outside Verkhovna Rada against a draft law on language policy

Close to 150 protestors were holding a protest rally outside the
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine against draft law No.9073 on the state
language policy.

150 protestors hold rally outside the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
against draft law No.9073 on the state language policy with drums,
flags and songs. The law could potentially switch state language to
Russian and not traditional Ukrainian.

The protestors blow the horns and bang the drums. Police control the
public order. As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the parliament did
not vote on the draft law on May 24 because of a scuffle between the
majority and the opposition. The opposition deputies block the work of
the Verkhovna Rada on May 25.
