ESL/Bilingual Education, Assistant Professor
WSU Tri-Cities Campus, Richland, WA

We request applications for a scholar with research and teaching 
expertise in English as a second language (ESL)/bilingual education for a 
tenure track faculty position. The candidate will have an earned doctorate 
in ESL/bilingual education, Applied Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, or 
a related field and demonstrated commitment to working with 
underrepresented, multilingual, culturally-diverse students.

Responsibilities include conducting scholarly research leading to 
publication, pursuing external funding, teaching graduate and 
undergraduate courses, and mentoring graduate students. Expertise in 
the area of second language acquisition and/or ESL education is 
preferred. 

Position open until filled. Screening will begin on December 1, 2012.
