The "Creative Australia" act adds nearly $14 million to support language resources and documentation: "Provide new funding of $13.983 million over four years to develop new community-driven language resources and activities, an extension of the Indigenous Languages Support program?". 

Columnist Greg Dickson wonders: while it may sound like a lot of money, does it adequately recognize the dire situation of the many endangered Indigenous languages in Australia?
