The legislature will, in the budget session, pass a resolution
that Kannada should be mandatorily taught as a language for children
studying in classes up to 12th in state syllabus schools.

BENGALURU: Pushed to a corner by successive judicial orders that the
freedom to choose a child's medium of instruction vests with the parents,
the Karnataka government is said to be working on a two-pronged strategy to
push its agenda for Kannada.

The legislature will, in the budget session, pass a resolution that Kannada
should be mandatorily taught as a language for children studying in classes
up to 12th in state syllabus schools. The government will push ahead with
its proposal to amend the rules pertaining to the Right of Children to Free
and Compulsory Education Act to make Kannada the only medium of instruction
up to class 5.

Primary and secondary education minister Kimmane Ratnakar told TOI a bill
on Kannada as the medium of instruction up to class 5 will be moved in the
budget session. He admitted Kannada as a compulsory language up to class 12
is seen as a stronger move.

By getting the resolution passed, the government intends to make Kannada a
compulsory language. "One can choose whether Kannada will be their first,
second or third language, but Kannada must be studied," Ratnakar said.
Students can choose English and Hindi as other languages.

In May 2014, the Supreme Court quashed the Karnataka government's decision
that mother tongue should be the medium of instruction in primary schools.
In February, the Karnataka High Court took a serious view of the state
government's attempts not to implement the Supreme Court's verdict on the
language policy, saying it bordered on contempt.

The state government has moved a curative petition.

what ever suits the majority of Kanadigas in their states and linguistic
interest, its up to them. why bring TN into this. we ensured that Hindi
imposition from Delhi to be booted out in 1963 itself, hence TN is the only
place that has not fallen to the will of Delhi. so dont try to impose the
will of Delhi again in TN, because this time it will be even messy when
compared to the last time

JTAG Access Port (JTAG-AP)

The JTAG-AP provides JTAG access to on-chip components, operating as a JTAG
master port to drive JTAG chains throughout the ASIC. This is an
implementation of the JTAG-AP in ADIv5.1.

The DAP also implements a DAPBUS interface to enable an additional access
port to be connected externally for connection to certain processors.

In addition to the Data Register, a Cache Register is also available in
Macronix NAND Products. The Cache
Register has the same size as the Data Register and enhances Read and
Program throughput by means
of data pipelining. Specific commands enable Cache operations (either Read
or Program). During Cache
Program it is possible to load new program data into the Cache Register
while the previous data is being
programmed into the array from the Data Register thus hiding the program
latency

The APB-AP can only access the Debug APB but
control is also possible from the AHB Matrix, through the APB-Mux,
resulting in
control and access of various CoreSight components

NOR Flash also uses Registers to output the data, but the size of the
buffer is very small (e.g. 16 to 32 Bytes)
compared to NAND. However the Read register can be loaded with a very short
latency (e.g. 100 ns).

Although the DAP allows JTAG-AP, Zynq devices do not
support this feature. The ARM DAP is composed of one debug port (DP) and up
to 3 access ports (APs). Among the
3 APs, Zynq-7000 devices only implement APB-AP as the bus master to access
all debug
components and AHB-AP to access system memory space directly

A Write

throughput in NOR, but the size is also
very small (e.g. 64 to 256 Bytes) compared to NAND

Debug APB is
also used to extract trace data from the ETB. It is a complicated process
to configure all of the debug
components properly to support user debug needs. Fortunately, most of the
work is automatically
handled by the debug tools. However, understanding Zynq debug architecture
is necessary to better
utilize the full system debug capability.

External debug tools connected to the ARM DAP through JTAG uses the debug
APB
bus to configure all debug components including CPU, CTI/CTM, PTM, ITM, and
FTM.

The DAP comprises the following interface blocks:
An APB multiplexor enables system access to CoreSight components connected
to the Debug APB.

The ROM table provides a list of memory locations of CoreSight components
connected to the Debug APB. This is visible from both tools and system
access. The ROM table indicates the position of all CoreSight components in
a system and assists in topology detection.

The DAP comprises the following interface blocks:

External debug access using the Serial Wire JTAG Debug Port (SWJ-DP). The
SWJ-DP enables selection of:

external serial wire access using the Serial Wire Debug Port (SW-DP)

external JTAG access using the JTAG Debug Port (JTAG-DP)

a Dormant state which disables the Serial Wire interface to enable the
connection to be shared with other protocols.

System access using:

1) AHB-AP
2) APB-AP
3) JTAG-AP

DAPBUS exported interface.

We should have comprehensive policy to promote all indian languages all
over india from first standard to tenth standard. . Every state should have
three language policy . English , state language and the third language
should be the language used in border areas in all border districts or else
majority of locals giving equal importance to all languages. Linguistic
minorities are trampled in every state be it maharashtra/ karnataha border
kerala/ karnataka border or tamil nadu /andhra /karnataka border ..THE POOR
WHO RESIDE IN BORDER AREAS BEAR THE BRUNT OF THIS SHORT SIGHTED POLICIES. .
In case if it is other places parents/ children should be allowed to choose
their own third language like hindi /sanskrit OR ANY OTHER INDIAN LANGUAGE.
In places like UP . The children who studied the third language should be
made eligible for job opportunities in neighbouring states..This will pave
for easy migration to their native places not affecting the child's future
This will also pave for greater unity

Though agreed for you idea of promotion of all Indian languages, I am
against the 3 language policy in the border. There should be a
collaboration of the neighboring states to ensure that the child has the
option on either of the states official language rather than studying 2
state language along with English, this discriminates the student of the
border to put extra effort when a student from the rest of the main land
state will just study 2 language and train himself for vocational subject.

I am dead against the imposition of Hindi and Sanskrit on the non Hindi
speaking states

not more than 16000 people speak Sanskrit fluently in India and you want to

country. Good luck with that.

Language of Bhramin? it is language in which entire history of 10000 year
of History is written. If u come from SC/ST it is your problem and fight
for it. Why now and then you blame upper class? U already have reservation.

ha ha, why not a billion years of history. atleast tell a like that is
close to truth buddy. Early recorded scriptures of Human kind do not date
more than 5000 years and these are found in caves else where in the world
and not in Sanskrit. Every language like Hebrew, Pali, Tamil, Mayan, etc
originated earlier than Sanskrit. about my reservation status, I belong in
the OBC category and yet so far I gave my competitive exams in open quota
only and as far as SC/ST reservation is concerned, yes I support it because
your fore fathers did not allow them to enter the temple of education for
100s of years and ill treated them. until they attain social equality they
will be supported with reservation. Sanskrit is undoubtedly a Bhramin
language used only to praise the Gods, so it has no value in science or
technology. so go figure

so now the alignment of teeth is related to language and not that of
genetic character. This is what happens to your brain when you impose Hindi
with out respecting other languages of your own country.

India is most poor & backward country in the world only because of 18th
century colonial English education system.PRIMARY EDUCATION IN MOTHER
TONGUE &HIGHER EDUCATION IN OUR MASTERS TONGUE TO SERVE FOR OUR MASTERS AS
A SLAVE.This is the colonial education policy, still has been
followed.Provide all higher & technical education in Indian languages to
make India a developed nation.African slaves also accepted their masters
language like Indians. In Africa 23 countries are learning in French, 16
countries in English 5 are in Portuguese, 2 in Spanish, all are most
backward in the world.India’s per capita income is mere 1300 $ in 2013, it
is more than 40,000 $ in developed nations where education is based on
mother tongue

There is nothing wrong in it. If you are in TN, better learn Tamil, if you
are in Kerala better learn Malayalam, rather than asking every one to learn
Hindi. Because English serves as a link language here in south as well as
it connects South and North much better than Hindi

This will also pave for greater unity....

Indian children's should learn many languages as it will make dem very
competitive anywhere in this country. I think its a state matter every
state has a right to protect their languages. Only because country having
Hindi majority does not mean every Indian should speak da same. People may
ready to teach children's German, French, Japanese etc but not other India
language. that's shameful, and you call yourself true Indian. I'm not south
Indian but they are far ahead of norths in social, educational, cultural
fields. in north no culture left. if ur not from Karnataka don't tell them
how to run the state.
