 From time to time, it occurs to me that I really have too much time on my hands. In 
moments like those, I'm prone to taking on exciting new projects, which may or may 
not contribute to what I'm actually supposed to be doing. And so with that

the reigns over to me. I've decided to move the list over to Jiscmail as a more 
manageable and academically focused platform, and to escape the corporate 
overlordship of Google (there will only be one overlord around here, mwahahaa!).

Now, to gather email addresses for the initial wave of new members I'm trying to 
funnel people into a secure Google doc (yes I get the irony of using a Google 
doc...), so that I can easily collect and add them to the list en masse. I know 
there's a self-registration system in Jiscmail, but with that I have to individually 
approve each new member request. Call me lazy...

So, if teaching linguistics currently occupies some or all of your time, please head

Lastly, allow me to introduce my co-moderator / co-overlord (coverlord?), Dr.
