Spring 2016 Lenape course at Swarthmore



Swarthmore College course open to UPenn students:
LING 019. Lenape Language Study

Students will gain a working knowledge of the structure of the Lenape
Language. The course covers conversation, grammar, and usage, as well as
discussion of the conceptual elements inherent in this Algonquian language.
Topics will include some elements of Lenape culture, songs in the language,
and discussion of the current status of Lenape as an endangered language.
1 credit.
*Spring 2016*, Wednesday 1:15-4p, Instructor: Shelley DePaul, Education
