Meeting Description:

The International Conference on Language Variation in Europe, ICLaVE, is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe. It aims at bringing together scholars of languages or language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change on the continent. 

Call for Papers: 

Scholars in any area of linguistics, such as historical linguistics, psycholinguistics, dialectology, sociolinguistics, phonetics, etc. are invited to submit their proposals.

Abstract length: Abstracts should include original research by one or more authors. The length of abstracts for individual papers is max
500 words).

Abstract format: Abstract submissions will take place on the ConfTool Platform; format expected: doc or docx.

Means of submission: Abstract submissions will take place on the ConfTool Platform

Deadline  for panels proposal submission: September 10, 2016
Deadline for papers and posters submission: October 25, 2016
Acceptance notification date: January 25, 2017
