[lg policy] Macron's English

[Harold Schiffman]

All,

A couple of days ago I sent a message to the list asking folks what their
impression of Mr. Macron's English is, and where he learned it.  I have
noted a few comments elsewhere on the web saying his English is "elegantly
accented" and words to that effect.  That message apparently bounced. So
I'm asking again what folks think about his English.  I lived in France for
two years several decades ago, and never heard English like his.  So where
did he learn
it?
