<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Responsibilities: </B>The Department seeks a full-time faculty member who is able to: (1) teach a range or graduate courses in the areas of second language theory, practice, and research; (2) advise MA and PhD students; (3) conduct scholarly research of interest to the language and educational research community and publish in national and international journals; (4) supervise student teachers in the field; and (5) contribute to program and department development especially in language and literacy across curricular areas,, including grant-writing, supporting linguistic and cultural diversity, teacher education across the department, and cultivating relationships with area schools. <o:p></o:p></P>
