Candidates should have an active research program and the ability to teach classes in one or more of the following areas: second language acquisition, bilingualism, L2 reading and writing, language assessment, classroom discourse and interaction, materials preparation. Teaching load will be 2/3 (one of these courses will be a graduate seminar in the visitor’s area of specialization). The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the professional and intellectual life of the department and to work closely with graduate students. Ph.D. by time of appointment preferred.
