The Program seeks a new faculty member interested in expanding its course offerings. Disciplinary background is less important than substantive interests, a true commitment to teaching and an active scholarly agenda focused on global issues that cross disciplinary boundaries. We have needs in a variety of areas, including immigration, human rights, international women's movements, political and economic development, race and ethnicity, nationalism, and

Region of expertise is of secondary importance but experience in Latin America, Southeast Asia, or the Middle East is of particular interest. The precise mix of courses to be taught will depend on the person hired. Successful teaching experience, a record of successful research and publication, a desire to participate in the growth of the program, and proficiency in at least one foreign language are all desirable. While political scientists are encouraged to apply, please note that this is not a position in International Relations per se.
