Ph.D. student in the field of business communication (English).  The position will be filled per February 1st 2008 or immediately thereafter.  The successful applicant will propose a project involving spoken interaction and is expected to be familiar with micro-analytic approaches to interaction such as Conversation Analysis.  The 
Ph.D. project will be part of a larger project at the department to<br>establish corpora of interactional data.<br><br>The Ph.D. curriculum is a student-centered program consisting of course work, seminars, conference participation, and workshops.  A condition of the grant is that the student spends a longer period of time at a research institution outside Denmark. The student is also expected to participate in the activities of the Department and to be present on campus regularly. Inquiries about the position may be directed to: Head of Department,
