Hours per week: Full time (35) (negotiable)<br><br>Salary: $32,550 - $46,519 FTE per annum, depending upon qualifications<br><br>Position Available: Immediately<br><br>DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:<br><br>Provide coordination and research support for several projects concerning teacher professional development, and language and literacy learning in schools.<br>
<br>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br><br>* Conduct background research on topics in language education using Web-based and print materials<br><br>* Manage physical and electronic data files<br><br>* Code and participate in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data<br>
<br>* Manage document design for reports, training materials, and proposals<br><br>* Communicate with project partners, schools, and teachers<br><br>* Assist in development and distribution of materials for training teachers and testing students<br>
<br>* Other tasks as assigned<br><br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br><br>Education: B.A. in linguistics, education, psychology or related field preferred<br><br>Experience: At least three years of research and/or teaching experience in a related field<br>
<br>Skills:<br><br>* Highly skilled in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (knowledge of MS Access and Dreamweaver a plus)<br><br>* Familiar with process for conducting a literature search<br>
<br>* Excellent writing and oral communication skills<br><br>* Flexible and well organized<br><br>* Able to prioritize tasks<br><br>* Able to work independently and with colleagues<br><br>________________________________<br>
