<P>The unifying theme will be how language connects to and mediates our feelings and impressions of ourselves and others. The perspective will be international in scope. Articles can address issues such as language and emotion, identity, intercultural pragmatics, and language attitudes. Studies that involve language learning, language contact, and language varieties are particularly welcome.<BR> <BR>Note: The deadline for the final version of the issue is July 1, 2009 with publication planned for some time in 2010.</P>
