<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">People will be able to use the Czech language in Slovak state offices, according to an amendment to the State Language Act approved by the Government on Wednesday.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The amendment also permits people to speak the Czech language on television and radio broadcastings in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Slovakia</st1:place></st1:country-region>, and provides for live broadcasts in foreign languages with simultaneous translation into Slovak.</P>
