<h2 align="center">Administrative Assistant at the National Museum of Language</h2>
<p><b>Location: </b>7100 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD<br><b>Hours:</b> Approximately 12 hours/week. : Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10 AM – 4 PM. Some flexibility is possible.<br><b>Hourly rate:</b> $8.00<br>
<b>Length of term:</b> February 2, 2010 – June 29, 2010 (with possibility of continuation depending on funding)<br><b>Deadline for Application:</b> Applications must be received by January 22, 2010. <li>Works under the direction of the Museum President, appointed Directors, and assigned Docents.
</li><li>Assists with calls and emails to principals, teachers, and others soliciting groups to visit the Museum
</li><li>Helps to create activities for school-aged visitors
</li><li>Organizes materials in the Museum
</li><li>Assist docents in explaining exhibits in the Museum
</li><li>Communicates with persons calling the Museum and making calls as requested by Trustees.<br><b></b></li></ul><b></b><b>Desired Qualifications</b>
<ul>
<li>Dependable and energetic individual with relevant work experience
</li><li>High school graduate; interested in language study
</li><li>Proven ability to accomplish assigned tasks on schedule
</li><li>Familiarity with computer applications: Word, Excel, and Internet research
</li><li>Pleasant manner with public and outgoing personality
</li><li>Two references from previous employers or teachers are required </li></ul>
