<br><br><div class="gmail_quote"> Forwarded From: <b class="gmail_sendername"></b> <a href="mailto:aisls-l@lists.pdx.edu">aisls-l@lists.pdx.edu</a><br><br> <br><br><br>I am happy to draw your attention to the publication in the L'Harmattan series 'Geographie and Cultures'  of the proceedings of a conference held in February 2010 at Paris-Sorbonne University on "Tamil communities and the Sri Lankan conflict" .   The volume is edited by Delon Madavan, Gaëlle Dequirez, and Éric Meyer.   You will find a copy of the volume's cover below and I have attached a detailed description of the contents of "Les communautés tamoules et le conflit sri lankais". This book is an aid to understanding not only the consequences of the long conflict in Sri Lanka, but also the diverse attitudes of Sri Lankan Tamil communities abroad to it. Some articles are written in English, others in French.<br>
