was held on the Faroe Islands in August 2011. </span><span lang="EN-GB">A major purpose of the conference was to provide
an interdisciplinary forum to compare, highlight, and share researched-based
knowledge on language policy, language rights, and multilingualism in the
Nordic countries. </span><span lang="EN-US">The proceedings
