<p>German language teaching hit by paucity of teachers</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Even as teaching of foreign languages in the city received a boost of late, lack of trained teachers has become a major stumbling block for better teaching of the languages in the city. In particular, there is a paucity of trained teachers in German language.

<p> </p>
<p>The year 2013 marks the completion of 100 years of German teaching in the city. With Pune hosting more than 300 German companies, the German presence is at an all-time high.
