<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Thank you, Ed. I agree. The data from which the maps were made is also suspect. For example, according to this map, Sami is the second most spoken language in Finland (at 0.2% of the population!), if you don’t
count Swedish. Yet it seems that speakers of 14 different languages place under Swedish but over Sami in Finland. (You can play around with that here:
<a href="http://pxweb2.stat.fi/database/StatFin/vrm/vaerak/vaerak_en.asp">http://pxweb2.stat.fi/database/StatFin/vrm/vaerak/vaerak_en.asp</a>). Apparently there are more speakers of Spanish than Sami in Finland! So, the idea is great, but the execution seems
