state of decline, and as we know from experience the further a language is on

potentially threatened languages needs ideally to start before they are

perhaps better "preserve", in addition to "resuscitate and
rejuvenate". I leave it up to you to decide whether you want to work this

knowledge is to be incorporated into the Indian educational curriculum, rather
than which term is used, or whether all such teaching is grouped under a single
