a biannual academic journal featuring research from established and
emerging scholars, community organizations and race relations
practitioners. </p>
<p itemprop="articleBody">In the current issue of <i>Directions</i>,
the CRRF explores issues such as: how language in policy, media and
daily interactions influence our experiences, identities and attitudes;
how discourse can create unbalanced power relations and marginalize
certain groups or individuals; and how we can use language to promote
positive race relations in a harmonious <span class="" itemprop="contentLocation" itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/Place"><span itemprop="geo" itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/address"><span itemprop="addressLocality">Canada</span></span></span>. </p>

social science terminology in response to changing demographics and
