<p>Catalan education minister, Meritxell Ruiz,
yesterday warned the State and other autonomous communities that any
statewide pact on education must scrupulously respect community statutes
and Catalan linguistic policy. In a meeting of state education
ministers, Ruiz pointed out that the Lomqe education reform was passed
