<p>Corporation Bank conducted one-day Hindi liaison officer workshop at 
its zonal office, Panaji last week. Annapurna S, zonal head, inaugurated
 the work shop in the presence of Awadhesh Thakur, chief manager, zonal 
office, Ashok Bisht, assistant manager. <span id="gmail-more-201840"></span></p>
<p>Emphasizing on the importance of official language in routing 
banking, Annapurna S, said that, Hindi must be used in day to day 
official work. The workshop had Gorakhnath Mishr, retired principal, 
Dempe College, Miramar taking sessions on “Hindi grammar and translation
 and Hindi letter writing and correspondence. Shashikant Pandey, 
official language officer, Canara Bank, conducted a session on “Unicode 
Installation and Use of Technology for the Hindi Language.” Pradeep 
Tiwari , senior manager SBI took a session on “Official language policy 
and annual programme 2018-19, and Mr Ashok Bisht, Corporation Bank, 
spoke on “Filling quarterly progressive report using PLUM and “Banking 
terminology and incentives schemes”.</p></div>
