<p><a href="https://www.british-study.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">British Study Centres</a>
has opened a school in Kyrgyzstan in a step towards satisfying the
demand for high-quality English Language Training in the capital
Bishkek.</p>

<small>Kerrie gained international print and online media experience
during five years of working in various newsrooms and the music industry
across Ireland, Australia and the UK.
After completing a Master's in Journalism at the University of Limerick
in Ireland, Kerrie kicked off her media career as a reporter for The
Irish Examiner before moving to Sydney to take on the role of Content
Manager for concert streaming site Moshcam.</small>

<p><a href="https://www.british-study.com/franchises/kg/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BSC Kyrgyzstan</a>
was established in the summer of 2018 and has quickly become a popular
choice for students wanting to study the English language in their home
country.</p>

<p>The government of Kyrgyzstan supports in-country ELT with a
three-national-language policy of Kyrgyz, Russian, and English. By 2022
the policy aim is to have 90% of secondary school leavers at CEFR B2
level in their non-native language.</p>
<p>In a launch to introduce the new opportunity for local students, BSC
welcomed the vice prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, Altynay Omurbekova, to
open the school.</p>
<p>Speaking about the new venture, owner of BSC Kyrgyzstan, Ryskul
Ashymkanova said: “We are very excited to be able to offer high-quality
BSC programs locally. We are committed to providing the very best for
our students and this is a great opportunity for them.”</p>
<p>BSC Group managing director for transnational education and chair of
English UK, Steve Phillips added that TNE is a vital part of BSC’s
offering.</p>
<p>“The team works so hard to ensure our standards across the world are
met and BSC Kyrgyzstan is a perfect example of this. It offers the same
high-quality experience with qualified teachers as our UK centres and we
are delighted they are now part of the BSC group,” he added.</p>
<p>Business Development Manager at BSC, Janna Sarkisova, commented that
it was a “dream come true”, for her as “being from Kyrgyzstan, I have
always wanted to provide a chance for local students to study
high-quality English language programs and have access to wider
opportunities for their education and careers.”</p>
<p>Located in the city centre of Bishkek, BSC delivered the Cambridge
CELTA course at BSC Kyrgyzstan in over the summer months and revealed
that all candidates passed successfully with several of them now working
at the school.</p>
<p>Future plans for the school including close cooperation with the
Ministry of Education on teacher training programs, delivery of an
international foundation year and junior summer camps.</p></div>
