    <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"
        style="mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">The editorial team of the
        journal <a href="https://benjamins.com/catalog/lplp">Language
          Problems & Language Planning</a> is pleased to present the
        third webinar of the series on language policy and planning
        (LPP). The webinar series aims to stimulate and promote research
        and discussion on LPP. Each webinar invites two distinguished
        speakers to discuss important aspects of LPP from different
        perspectives. The webinar lasts 90 minutes, including
        discussion.</span></p>

        is “<b>Language and Power: A Political Science Perspective</b>.”

        style="mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">Speakers' bio:</span></p>
    <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"
        style="mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">- Linda Cardinal is emeritus
        professor at the University of Ottawa. She works on comparative
        language regimes, Canadian and Québec language politics, as well
        as citizenship debates and minorities. She is editor of "Enjeux
        et société" and a founding member of the Observatoire en
        immigration francophone au Canada.</span></p>
    <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"
        style="mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">- Peter A. Kraus is Full
        Professor of Political Science at the University of Augsburg,
        Germany. He has published widely and in several languages on
        cultural diversity and identity politics, political linguistics,
        ethnicity, migration, nationalism and populism, and the dilemmas
        of European integration, as well as problems of democratisation
        and democratic theory.</span></p>
