Hi all,

I am looking for an article that I remember reading with great interest...
but for which I have forgotten all the critical reference information!

It was about working class women being directed toward hysterectomies (in
early phase cancer cases) to a much higher degree than middle class women.
I think the article contrasted a public health clinic with some kind of
more middle class setting - maybe a school clinic? The doctor-patient
interactions were markedly different in the two settings, with the working
class women being treated as less competent to make decisions about their
health.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thanks in advance for any help!
