Binghamton’s freshman-level Language, Culture, and Communication in the US, and
the department’s graduate-level offerings in linguistic anthropology

Experience in college-level teaching and in fieldwork-based research are
required, as are an interest in innovative pedagogy and a capacity to direct
outstanding graduate-level research. PhD at time of appointment is strongly
preferred but ABDs will be considered.

To be assured full consideration, applications must arrive by June 29, 2001,
but the search will remain open until the position is filled.
