Crosstalk video

The two versions of the Crosstalk videos are different in length. The
communication scenarios in the short version (1991) are included in the long
version (1979).

I would also like information on purchasing a copy of the 1979 version, but
I don't believe it's still available. Does anyone know?

On another note, has anyone been successful in buying a copy of the 1979
version of Crosstalk recently, and does anyone know how different the 1991
version is? From the descriptions I've read of it, it seems to have a
similar focus on the job interview, but it's not clear to me how tied it is
to Gumperz's work and how much it focuses on the concept of
conceptualization cues.

thanks for any info --
