[Linganth] search extended - half time position in linguistic anthropology

George Washington University, Department of Anthropology, seeks a linguistic anthropologist for a half-time, two semester position beginning August 15, 2005 through May 31, 2006. PhD and teaching experience strongly preferred.

Successful candidates will be prepared to teach courses that include an introductory lecture course on language, culture and society and a graduate seminar in linguistic anthropology. Candidates are also invited to make use of the Discourse Lab, an advanced facility for the video analysis of spoken interaction, for teaching and research.
