Sounds quite interesting. Haven't read Mary Bucholtz's own research yet but
there's a lot to be said about nerds and geeks in today's world, especially
in tech-intensive parts of North America.
Has anybody seen carry-over from geek/nerd culture in other tech-savvy parts
of the World, say, in South Asia?
