I did a quick google search and found a Findlaw article:

Otherwise, I don't know of any comprehensive research review on this
subject, but if you go to the archive of the lgpolicy-list, you can search
for articles on the subject.  One there is on Navajo (in the workplace),
another on New York building workers.
