Saying Something, "Foul Language"

At first blush, it does seem like it can afford a linguistic
anthropological perspective in terms of the relationships between
communication and action. Also, the comments contain some tidbits
about "foul language," frequently a good source of ethnolinguistic and
sociolinguistic insight.

What do you all think?
If there's interest through this list, I might try to include it in
the next SLA "roundup." It's often difficult to choose what to cover,
in those posts, so something which garners interest from colleagues is
especially relevant.
