2fik, a Moroccan and french descent, visual /performance artist, will be 
giving one of his  multi-character performance presentations at Lavender 
Languages 20 (Feb 15-17, 2013.)  Denis Provencher discusses some of 2fik's 
work in a recent essay in the Journal of  Homosexuality (58 [6-7]: 
812-833.)  Provencher and several colleagues also have a session in 
development exploring queer French  and the Mahgrebi diaspora,  with which 
2fik's presentation will be connected.
