[Linganth] One Year Visiting Position at the University of Oklahoma

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Oklahoma is accepting applications for a visiting professor in cultural and linguistic anthropology for the 2016-2017 academic year.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in linguistic anthropology or sociocultural anthropology at the time of appointment.  Courses to be taught include a graduate seminar on the ethnography of speaking and the core graduate course in linguistic anthropology, as well as undergraduate sociocultural and linguistic anthropology courses.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest and a current c.v. with the names and contact information for three referees to the search committee chair, Prof. Misha Klein, misha at ou.edu<mailto:misha at ou.edu>.  Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
