GENDER, IDENTITY AND MIGRATION SEMINAR

14 October 2016
Location: King's College London

Registration is now open for the Gender, Identity and Migration Seminar. Scholars working in a variety of fields (e.g. linguistics, cultural studies, anthropology) are invited to participate in this one-day seminar on the construction of gender and gender relations in contemporary Europe. The seminar will explore the role of gender in the migration process. During the seminar, graduate students and scholars working on gender issues will investigate how gender relations affect migration, settlement and relationship with the ‘home’ culture that has been left behind.

Deadline for abstract submission: September, 29th 2016.
