Dear All,
Apologies if this question has been previously answered. Do we have a list of media/films/documentaries on language variation? I'm looking for something more updated that American Tongues but that includes more groups than The Linguists.
A colleague mentioned she had come across a film connecting the dialect of Jamaican English to that of the Irish, but she did not know the name of the movie. Perhaps someone on the list recalls this film?
If there is a dearth of such documentaries, is anyone aware of any films that are in production?
Thank you in advance. I will be happy to send out a compilation of replies to the group.
Best,
Rebecca
