IGALA 10 Call for US-based Graduate Student Abstracts

The proposal for funds to support US-based graduate student travel to the International Gender & Language Association's 10th conference (IGALA 10) in Gaborone, Botswana (June 20-22) has been recommended for funding by the National Science Foundation. In order to broaden the pool of possible recipients of this opportunity as much as possible, the organizers of IGALA 10 are reopening the call for papers deadline between 15 January and 30 January. If you or a graduate student you know did not submit an abstract earlier because you did not have travel funding, you have a second chance now to do so.

Please see the IGALA 10 website for the original call for papers (https://igala10.wordpress.com) and get in touch with Holly Cashman (holly.cashman at unh.edu) with any questions about the funding opportunity.

Note: Where available, any air travel to be reimbursed with NSF funds must be on US flag carriers. Keep this in mind when making travel arrangements if you plan to apply for this funding.
